Through my working engagement with the mentioned retail supermarket company, I was fortunate enough to sharpen my customer service skills. This involves answering customer queries on products, ensuring that customers are treated with respect and feel comfortable with being in the vicinity of the supermarket, greeting customers and most importantly ensuring that the company policies on payments are followed up without mistakes and that the customer receives the correct change when at cash-out stations. In addition, I have been able to keep in place the need to be time-efficient in my daily duties with the company with the bonus of harnessing skills in prioritization, communication, and lastly, the need to be attentive to every customer- interaction with daily which requires excellence in interpersonal skills.

I was fortunate enough to be selected with other applicants for the first-ever scholarship program undergone by Outsource Fiji, in collaboration with Learning Planet TV, a micro- soft skills platform based in New Zealand. The initiative by Outsource Fiji was based solely on the need to upskill individuals interested in the Outsourcing Industry, and I couldn't slip up the chance to be a part of such a wonderful opportunity.
