Work & Experience
Project: Population Age Based Stratified Assesment of SarsCov2 Seropositivity (PASS) in Fiji. •Assist in all project trainings and be part of the Training as scheduled and advised by the Centre. •Travel to the Central, Eastern, Western and Northern Division of Fiji for the purpose of household data collection •Recruit participants based on the approved methodology and attained consent from the selected communities within the Central, Eastern, Western and Northern Division •Complete the Demographic Questionnaire via the provided tablet/device. •Complete all required checklist and forms on the field via the tablet/device. •Take responsibility for all equipment(s) given and return the same at the completion of the survey. •Maintaining records for submission to the Study Coordinator and resolve any data entry issues. •Respond to data entry for all data collected and resolve accordingly for unfilled fields. •Uploading all data onto the centralized portal as per the protocol and advised by Study Coordinator •Assist in the data entry upon request and attend team meetings. •Complete a weekly progress report and submit to the Fiji Institute of Pacific Health Research, the research arm of the College of Medicine, Nursing & Health Sciences •Work closely with the Study Coordinator on collection protocol for Household survey •Assist in logistic arrangement and preparation of Field work assigned by the Study Coordinator and the Senior Project Officer •To complete any other duties assigned by the Study Coordinator, Senior
Project: “Impact of Covid-19 on Women & Children”. •Complete a training organized by the principal investigator in relation to the data collection methods. •Conduct in-depths interviews among women in Lami, Nausori, Nasinu and Suva areas (at least 4 interviews per day). •Conduct Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) among women in the study area (at least 2 FGDs per day). •Conduct member checking exercise among study participants to validate the data collected. •Transcribe the in-depth interviews (IDIs) verbatim. •Transcribe the Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) verbatim.
