Work & Experience
Monitor and manage the health and welfare of dairy cows, administering medications and treatments as needed. Provide animals with adequate food and clean water, and develop feeding plans with animal nutritionists. Operate milking equipment or manually milk cows, following strict hygiene standards to ensure milk quality. Clean and maintain barns, milking parlors, and other farm facilities to ensure a sanitary environment. May oversee or assist with breeding programs and other reproductive services to improve herd genetics. Implement sustainable farming practices, minimize environmental impact, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
